CONFERENCE OVERVIEW

Mission

Increasing in Knowledge to Lead in Faith

A key part of the New Evangelization is the call for all Catholics to deepen their love for Sacred Scripture.   At the Applied Biblical Studies Conference you will receive personal formation on the Catholic understanding of Scripture as well as the practical training to effectively communicate these truths.  You will be instructed, encouraged and inspired by a team of world-class Biblical teachers in an environment that feeds and welcomes your love for Sacred Scripture and the Holy Catholic Church.  Come and you will grow in your knowledge of God’s word and be equipped to lead others to deeper faith.

2018 Theme

Prophecy and Typology:

Understanding Our Times in the Light of God’s Story

“For whatever was written previously was written for our instruction, that by endurance and by the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope.” – Romans 15:4

We can only understand where we’re going as soon as we begin to understand our history. The Old Testament prophets foretold the coming of our Lord and all that He would bring into our lives, and their words still contain wisdom for us today and give us hope for the future.

This summer at the Applied Biblical Studies Conference, come learn from the prophetic words of our spiritual ancestors and receive the encouragement that their messages hold, that you may go forth and proclaim the Word of God in joy.
