Marcus Peter

About

Marcus Benedict Peter, a cradle Catholic who received poor catechesis, spent many years as a militant atheist before encountering a life-changing conversion experience on May 20, 2008. He spent the first two years of his “converted” life as a Pentecostal Protestant, serving as a praise leader and itinerant preacher.

Through a consistent and prayerful study of Scripture, the fathers, theology, philosophy, the influence of a faithful Catholic friend, and the intercession of the Blessed Virgin, he found his way back to the Church and returned home in full communion in 2010. He spent four years as a missionary seminarian and has spoken and taught in thousands of sessions, conferences, seminars, courses, and retreats across Malaysia, Singapore, India, the Philippines, and the United States on a wide array of topics pertaining to the Catholic Faith.

Marcus received a bachelor’s degree in corporate communications in Malaysia and a master’s degree in theology from Ave Maria University. He is completing a doctorate in biblical theology from Pontifex University and beginning work on a second doctorate in scripture from Maryvale Institute in Birmingham, United Kingdom. Marcus is also working on publishing books on Sacred Scripture.
