When our hearts desire to share the faith but we struggle to find the words, we can easily become timid, fearful, and frustrated; but God wants to give us bold and confident hearts that are moved by love to go forth with joy and share Jesus and the truth of the Church. The Defending the Faith Conference has sent forth tens of thousands of Catholics who have gone back to their families, parishes, and places of work with great zeal and love to share the truth and spread Christ’s love. Come and be empowered and equipped to fulfill your desires to lead others in faith.
“This was my 1st Steubenville Conference, and I really did not know what to expect. I’ve often feel like I’m not ‘Catholic’ enough to really benefit from conferences and talks like this, but I was blown away by how approachable the speakers made the material, and I enjoy how the talks related to everyday life. ”2017 Defending the Faith Participant
“Already a devoted, bold and enthusiastic Catholic, I now find myself at 51 years old, with the fire of my faith not just rekindled, but stoked and burning passionately brighter! I have already begun my journey of much more vibrant discipleship!”2017 Defending the Faith Participant
“This was my first Defending the Faith Conference, and although I expected great things from a conference at Franciscan University, I had no idea what I was in for–it was astounding. EVERY speaker was phenomenal, EVERY speaker gave a message of profound depth and importance, and all was expertly delivered. It is obvious that this conference commands the best-of-the-best in presenters, both in substance and style. God Himself will be the only thing stopping me from attending every year from now on!”Religious Sister, 2017 Defending the Faith Participant
“Coming to the conference was like discovering an oasis in the desert. A place where we can recharge and refresh for the battle ahead.”2017 Defending the Faith Participant

STEUBENVILLE DISCIPLESHIP QUADS
There is nothing like a mountain-top encounter with the love of Jesus – it’s coming down from the mountain that can be scary. Franciscan University of Steubenville has created Steubenville Discipleship Quads to help you come down from the mountain and get right on a path that will lead you to a closer walk with Christ.
A Steubenville Discipleship Quad is a group of four men or women who are committed to growing together as disciples through communal prayer, sharing personal experiences, and following the provided curriculum, accompanying each other into a deeper relationship with Christ.
Following Jesus: You don’t have to do it alone.
