Monsignor Charles Pope, a native of Chicago, Illinois, was ordained a priest in 1989 and currently is pastor of Holy Comforter-St. Cyprian Parish in Washington, D.C. He is a well-known blogger and columnist for the National Catholic Register and Our Sunday Visitor. He is also the author of two books, The Ten Commandments and Catholic and Curious. He has preached at retreats for priests in numerous dioceses and has given many talks at parishes and national gatherings.
